The combination of a 24GHz millimeter wave radar and a PIR sensor reliably identifies people standing still or moving, helping to reduce false alarms. The built-in light sensor allows you to create intelligent lighting automations (function is not supported by Alexa and Google). No Meross hub required. Compatible with 2.4GHz WLAN.
The sensor is used with a Matter compatible speaker that acts as a hub and is compatible with Meross, Apple HomeKit, Alexa, Google Home and Home Assistant. Supports local control for low latency response and more stable connection. Depending on the platform, the “Attendance” status can be displayed as “Movement” or “Busy”.
Millimeter wave radars only identify human presence without taking pictures, sounds or other environmental data, helping to protect family privacy. The included anti-interference protection helps reduce unwanted detection caused by pets or robot vacuum cleaner, improving detection accuracy.
Thanks to the 360° swivel and 90° folding bracket, the sensor can be easily installed in different positions. The power supply is wired and includes a 2m power cord and a power supply. Detection range up to 12 m, with the most accurate presence detection of up to 6 m. For best performance, point the sensor at the person’s chest, adjust the sensitivity of the app merus if necessary, and use Matter devices to reduce response delay.
meross presence sensor supports multiple detection modes (presence or movement) and can be integrated with compatible automations. Once an activity is detected, you can receive notifications through the Merus app or compatible third-party platforms to keep you updated on the status of your home.
Note: : To use the Matter functions, you need a Matter compatible speaker that works as a hub. Alexa and Google do not currently support lighting automations based on the built-in light sensor. To access all functions, we recommend using the Meross app.
